The Tag Heuer party has its beginnings in year 1860 when Edouard Heuer established a watch making company in Switzerland, and got patent for his first chronograph in year 1882. After five years, Heuer patented an ‘oscillating pinion’ yet used by major horologers for mechanical chronographs. In year 1911, Heuer got a patent for the “Time of Trip”, the first splashboard timer.
